John Astles Named to 2026 Power List for Healthcare

Executive Director & CEO John Astles has been named to the Rochester Business Journal's 2026 Power List for Healthcare. In his profile, John explains how AI and adaptive technology can expand what's possible for people with disabilities, including through the VR and AI lab at our Employment and Training Center, built in partnership with RIT. He also shares his view of leadership as vision paired with honest assessment. And he talks about why strong local support keeps him optimistic, even during uncertain times for disability services. Today, more than 220 people supported by The Arc Ontario are working in the community through our employer networks.
