Arc Ontario Honored As A 2026 Rochester Business Journal Elevating Women Award Winner

The Arc Ontario is proud to be one of 24 organizations named a 2026 Elevating Women honoree by the Rochester Business Journal.

The Elevating Women awards recognize companies and organizations across New York that show real, documented results in supporting and empowering women. RBJ's leadership team chose honorees based on four things: how they hire and promote women, how many women hold leadership roles, how they advocate for women inside and outside the organization, and how they develop the next generation of women professionals.

Members of our team accepted the award on September 24 at RBJ's Women's Leadership Summit at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Along with the awards ceremony, the day included a fireside chat on leading with purpose, an applied AI workshop with RIT's Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, and breakout sessions on professional growth.

Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal, praised this year's honorees for giving women a path to grow in their careers and personal lives. She noted that supporting women strengthens the whole community.
