The Virtual Reality (VR) Lab
Our VR Lab uses assistive and adaptive VR and AI technology to create stress-free, controlled training where potential becomes reality.
Expansive Training: The Transfr Trek Platform we’ve implemented offers over 100 distinct careers across 16 clusters, including 36 "day-in-the-life" simulations, and over 300 hands-on skills training sessions.
Customized AI: Our collaborative research partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) developed a specialized AI Chatbot to practice social and communication skills, continually refining the tool to address the unique challenges and strengths of individuals with I/DD.
Future Focus: We are actively exploring new vocational training opportunities including auto-mechanics and other fields beyond hospitality that are not traditionally associated with I/DD employment.
